Bridge Building

The Golden Bridge Awards are given to businesses exporting to and from Belgium to the UK. The Chamber of Commerce asked us over to Brussels to film the business presentations at the British Embassy and we had a great day.

Once back in the UK we edited an energetic, fast paced and very loud show video which was played at the awards ceremony in central London on the 15th. The audience of business associates and dignitaries gave the video a huge round of applause, which was nice.

Nice Assets

Appeal PR asked me to film the ‘Asset Based Lending Charity Dinner’ at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds tonight.

The swanky event was hosted by the legendary Harry Gration from the BBC and raised £15,000 for the Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal. The shoot was challenging with very low lighting levels and a huge crowd, not to mention an abscess in my jaw.

The glamour of the TV industry eh?

You gotta have faith

congregational1Congregational and General Insurance asked me to film the Faith Through a Lens 2011 awards ceremony. I visited the venue earlier in the year for a recce with the media team from CGI, so we knew what to expect. I provided lighting in the venue, as well as suggesting the layout of the room and the best way to ‘stage’ the awards.

Internationally renowed photojournalist, Don McCullin attended the ceremony to meet the photograhers, and gave us an interview at the end of the evening.
